John and Eva Alonzo founded Crew Call, Inc. after discovering that the Orlando market was flooded with stagehand companies. This husband and wife team realized that there wasn’t a locally owned and operated company that specialized in video technical support personnel. That’s why Crew Call, Inc. was created in February of 1997. While many other companies have offices in Orlando, only one is truly locally owned and operated – and that’s Crew Call, Inc.
Company President Eva Alonzo bring with her over 15 years of technical staffing in the Orlando market. “Thanks to my years of experience, I know that I have gathered together the most skilled group of freelancers in the Orlando area,” notes Eva. Her philosophy is to treat clients with the best customer service available. As she says often, “If we can’t fill a call with qualified people, we’d rather turn down the show. The company’s Vice President, John Alonzo, brings to his position more than 25 years of technical expertise. His many years of staging and production experience have give Crew Call, Inc. an added dimension, the ability to assemble a great crew that can work together to ensure each show’s success. John’s specialty is high-end video, video projection, tape playback, and record and video engineering.
Originally from New York, John and Eva Alonzo have lived in the Orlando area for over 18 years. They consider it a privilege to live in such a dynamic city, and are honored to call Orlando home. The couple has two wonderful kids, and are involved in many local civic organizations. Crew Call, Inc. is proud to also be a sponsor of Dr. Phillips High School Athletics.
